Hurra! Three good news!
Lur is participating in the project Transitos Habana, an art festival on Cuba, the 20th to 25th of May! The project is run by Memory Wax and we will cooperate with scandinavian and cuban dancers and musicians to create an outdoor performance!
Lur will once again cooperate with Teater 23 and make music for their next theatre “95% är ett totalt j***a mörker”, written by Johanna Emanuelsson and directed by Erik Holmström.
And… we got a culture grant from Malmö stad to further develop the live-show! Jihaa!
See you!
During three days we will release three new songs with start the 20/2.
You can now also listen, buy and download Lur´s music on Bandcamp. Pay as much you think the songs are worth..

New Poster!
New Costumes
Hello New York!!!
We’re now in the middle of the storm creating things for the new show! We’ll make a short but delicious premiere-tour in may:
3rd-11th – New York, Music doc festival
13th-14th – Norrlandsoperan, Umeå, Made festival
27th-28th – Karavan, Malmö
At the moment we are a crew of twelve persons working with custom-made instruments, interactive visuals and costumes, astral journeys, lightning drums and electronic rituals.
I’m constantly trying to get time to make a video-blog, so hopefully it’s coming soon. Cheers!

If anyone wonder why you don’t hear anything from us right now, it’s because we’re recording an album and making a brand new show. It’s gonna be bigger, faster and more dangerous than ever so hold on. The release of it all will be late spring 2011 :) hugs and kisses
After times of darkness and despair…
The time has come for a new dawn,
for disobedience and dancing
for disorder and creating.
The time has come,
for the return of the livelooping magicians,
the electric shamans of sounds
back from the dead!
“…the sickest and coolest thing I’ve ever seen!”
“The visual context and amount of surprises create pure magic on stage.”
“It takes some skills to play on a duck”
“…a brilliant freakery”
“Insanely good! but I still don’t understand how you played on my body?”
“…some kind of glimmering mix between roman dresses and Star Trek.”
“An energetic music performance unlike anything else.”
Featuring:
Livelooping madness!
Massive beats and oriental melodies
An array of strange instruments
Toy machines and junk
Electric currents through bodies
Interactive animations and live-cameras
All mixed in a stunning disco show….
Be prepared for the new show and cd,
world release and tour late spring 2011.
